Chlorinated fatty acid methyl ester

Chloromethoxy methyl ester of fatty acid (C20H37Cl3O3) is an environmentally friendly plasticizer that appears as a pale yellow transparent oily liquid at room temperature, with a density of 1.10~1.20 (20°C) and a flash point ≥192°C. Its chlorine content is ≥26%, and ester content is ≥99%. It has been tested by SGS and complies with EU environmental standards^[1]. This substance is synthesized from long-chain fatty acids extracted from vegetable oil foots through processes such as esterification and chloromethoxylation. It combines both plasticizing and flame-retardant properties, exhibits good compatibility with PVC, and can serve as a substitute for phthalate plasticizers and chlorinated paraffins.
